Nicole is a registered Psychologist and the owner/director of Aluka Psychology. She offers diverse experience across private practice, non-government youth organisations, and educational settings. She has worked with a wide range of clients in both assessment and therapy settings and enjoys modifying traditional evidence-based therapies into energetic, and interactive approaches that help boost engagement and effectively establish rapport.
Nicole has a strong knowledge base and practice in Autism and ADHD, and has previously delivered multiple workplace presentations on effectively engaging neurodiverse clients in therapy. She works from an inclusive and non-judgemental client-centred approach and enjoys utilising a diverse range of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour
Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Creative Therapies.
