Therapy Sessions

You do not need a referral if you wish to see a Psychologist by paying privately or through your Private Health Insurance. You may be able to claim a rebate through your Private Health insurer. A reduced fee (as compared to the APS National Schedule of Recommended fees) of $190 is offered as we understand the considerable cost of out of pocket expenses.

A Mental Health Care Plan can be obtained through an appointment with your General Practitioner. Medicare currently subsidises 10 Psychology sessions per year with a rebate of $96.65 per session. A reduced fee (as compared to the APS National Schedule of Recommended fees) of $190 is offered as we understand the considerable cost of out of pocket expenses.

Aluka Psychology currently sees clients who are either self-managed or plan-managed through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and charges at the current NDIS recommended rate of $222.99 per session.

Aluka Psychology charges a cancellation fee for all late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) and non-attendance to sessions.
